Installation Notes

Disconnect the battery or main power supply to the engine before starting work.
Securely raise the sterndrive to its highest trim/tilt position to access the anodes.
Carefully remove the old, worn-out anodes and mounting hardware. Note their positions.
Thoroughly clean the mounting surfaces on the sterndrive. A wire brush is effective for removing corrosion and ensuring a clean, bare metal contact area.
Install the new anode adapter plates (if applicable) and anodes from the kit onto the corresponding locations.
Ensure there is direct, solid metal-to-metal contact between the new anodes and the sterndrive. Do not use any paint, sealant, or grease on the contact surfaces.
Tighten all bolts and screws according to the manufacturer's torque specifications. Do not overtighten.
Once installation is complete, lower the drive and reconnect the battery.
