Installation Notes
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Loosen the serpentine belt tensioner and carefully remove the belt from the sea water pump pulley.
- Remove the bolts securing the old pulley to the sea water pump hub.
- Gently pull the old pulley off the shaft. Clean the pump mounting surface and shaft.
- Align the new pulley with the shaft keyway and slide it into place.
- Reinstall and tighten the mounting bolts to the manufacturer's specified torque.
- Route the serpentine belt correctly around all pulleys, then re-engage the tensioner.
- Double-check belt alignment on all pulleys.
- Reconnect the battery terminal.
