Installation Notes

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Close the engine's seacock to prevent water from entering the vessel.
Loosen the hose clamps and remove the water hoses from the pump housing.
Remove the bolts securing the sea water pump to the engine bracket.
Disassemble the pump housing, taking care to note the order and orientation of the cover, gaskets, and plates.
Remove the old impeller, O-rings, and gaskets.
Thoroughly clean all pump housing surfaces and remove any old gasket material or debris.
Install the new components from the kit. Lightly lubricate the new impeller and inner housing with a suitable marine lubricant or dish soap.
