Installation Notes

Disconnect the battery and ensure the engine is off and cool.
Remove the lower unit (gearcase) afrom the outboard or sterndrive.
Unbolt and remove the existing water pump housing.
Take note of the old impeller's blade orientation before removing it and the key.
Clean all mounting surfaces, removing old gasket material and debris.
Install the new gaskets, seals, and key from the kit.
Slide the new impeller into the housing while turning the driveshaft clockwise to seat the blades correctly.
Install the new face plate and reassemble the pump housing, torquing bolts to manufacturer specifications.
Reinstall the lower unit, ensuring the water tube and shift shaft align correctly.
Reconnect the battery and test the engine with a water supply, checking for proper water outflow.
