Installation Notes

Disconnect the battery and uncouple the shift linkage.
Remove the mounting bolts that secure the lower unit (gearcase) to the engine midsection.
Carefully lower and slide the gearcase assembly away from the engine.
Unbolt and remove the old water pump housing to access the impeller and wear plates.
Thoroughly clean the driveshaft and all mounting surfaces, removing any old gasket material or debris.
Install the new impeller, woodruff key, face plate, and gaskets as provided in the kit. Ensure the impeller vanes are oriented correctly.
Secure the new water pump housing over the impeller assembly and tighten the bolts to the manufacturer's torque specifications.
Carefully guide the lower unit back into place, ensuring the driveshaft, shift shaft, and water tube are properly aligned.
Reinstall the lower unit bolts and reconnect the shift linkage.
Reconnect the battery, supply water to the engine's intakes, and start the engine to check for proper water flow from the tell-tale outlet.
