Installation Notes
- Disconnect the battery before beginning work to prevent electrical shock.
- Replace one spark plug wire at a time to avoid mixing up cylinder firing order. Note the routing of the old wire before removing it.
- Firmly grasp the boot (not the wire) and twist slightly to remove the old wire from the spark plug and distributor cap.
- Apply a small amount of dielectric grease to the inside of the new boots for easier installation and improved sealing.
- Route the new wire along the same path as the original. Push the boots onto the spark plug and distributor cap until you feel or hear a distinct click.
- Once all wires are replaced, reconnect the battery and start the engine to confirm smooth operation.
