Installation Notes

1. Disconnect the battery and ensure the engine is off and cool before beginning work.
2. Locate the existing oil filter, which is situated in-line between the engine's oil tank and the electric oil pump.
3. Place a suitable container underneath to catch any residual oil spillage.
4. Carefully disconnect the oil lines from both ends of the old filter assembly.
5. Remove the old filter from its mounting position.
6. Install the new filter, ensuring any directional flow arrows match the oil flow path.
7. Securely reconnect and clamp the oil lines to the new filter.
8. After installation, prime the oil system according to your engine’s service manual to purge any air pockets.
9. Reconnect the battery, start the engine, and carefully check for leaks around the filter and connections.
