Installation Notes

Disconnect the battery and remove the engine cover.
Shift the outboard into neutral and remove the lower unit mounting bolts.
Carefully lower and remove the gearcase assembly to access the water pump.
Unbolt and remove the old water pump housing assembly. Note the orientation of all parts.
Clean the mounting surfaces and install the new plate, gasket, and impeller. Ensure the impeller vanes are oriented correctly.
Install the new housing, seals, and O-rings provided in the kit.
Grease all components as specified by your service manual and reassemble.
Reinstall the lower unit, ensuring the driveshaft and shift shaft align correctly. Tighten bolts to the proper torque.
