- Securely slide the transom saver wedge over the main tilt/trim ram shaft. Ensure the wider end is positioned toward the boat.
- Slowly lower the outboard until its weight rests firmly and squarely on the support wedge. Do not apply excessive pressure.
- Clip the included outboard steer stop stabilizers onto the hydraulic steering cylinder rods on each side of the motor to prevent turning during transit.
- Before launching your boat, remove the stabilizer clips and transom saver by trimming the motor up.
