Installation Notes
- Tilt the outboard motor to the full "up" position to expose the hydraulic trim/tilt rods.
- Slide the transom saver wedge securely over the designated trim/tilt piston rod (typically the starboard-side rod).
- Lower the motor slowly until the wedge is held firmly between the motor's hydraulic housing and the transom mount.
- Attach the included steering stabilizer clips to the hydraulic steering rods on both sides to prevent the engine from turning during transit.
- Before launching the boat, reverse the steps: remove the steering clips, raise the motor slightly, and remove the wedge.

Check the compatibility table for your engine's HP range. It is not compatible with Johnson/Evinrude Generation 2 models. For Yamaha V8 engines, two units are required for complete stability.
