Installation Notes

Install the new impeller key, impeller, wear plate, and gasket from the kit. Ensure the impeller vanes are oriented correctly.
Reinstall the water pump housing, torquing the bolts to the manufacturer's specification.
Re-attach the lower unit to the engine, ensuring all linkages, tubes, and the driveshaft are correctly aligned.
Refill the lower unit with the specified marine gear lubricant.
Reconnect the battery, start the engine using a water supply (flushing muffs), and verify a steady stream of water from the tell-tale outlet.
