Troubleshooting & FAQ
How do I know if this impeller fits my engine?
First, compare your existing part number to those in the "Part Number Matrix." Second, check if your engine is listed in the "Engine & Model Compatibility" tables. Finally, always visually compare our product photos and specifications to your old part before ordering.
What are signs of a failing impeller?
Common symptoms include engine overheating at idle or low speeds, reduced water flow from the exhaust outlet, and visible cracks, tears, or missing blades on the impeller itself upon inspection.
How often should I replace my impeller?
As a general rule, impellers should be inspected annually and replaced every one to two years, depending on usage hours and water conditions (e.g., sandy or silty water may require more frequent changes). Refer to your engine's service manual for specific recommendations.
What is the difference between neoprene and nitrile impellers?
Neoprene impellers (like this one) are primarily for engine cooling systems with raw water. They are flexible and durable for this purpose. Nitrile impellers are used for pumping oil or fuel and should not be used in water applications, as they offer less flexibility.
OEM vs. Aftermarket?
This listing is an aftermarket replacement (not OEM). Built to OEM-level specifications with comparable materials. Manufactured in an ISO 9002 facility, batch-inspected for consistency.
Shipping speed & cost?
We ship worldwide quickly—typical transit 5–15 days. Standard shipping is free; expedited options appear at checkout where available.
Warranty & returns?
Covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use. If issues arise, contact support with your order details. Returns are accepted within our standard window (unused & in original condition). See our policy page or reach out for instructions.
