Installation Notes
- Ensure the engine is off and the key is removed. Disconnect the battery for added safety.
- Place a block of wood between the propeller blade and the cavitation plate to prevent rotation.
- Use a socket wrench to remove the existing propeller cone bolt by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Carefully slide off the old spinner cone and washer. Inspect the propeller shaft and threads for damage or debris.
- For A-series diesel applications, install the included Spacer Ring (853676) first.
- Place the new Plastic Washer (854294) onto the shaft, followed by the new Spinner Cone (872549).
- Apply marine-grade grease to the threads of the new 12mm Lock Bolt (872546).
- Thread the new bolt into the propeller shaft and tighten it to the manufacturer's recommended torque specifications. Do not over-tighten.
