Installation Notes

Will this kit fit my 280 Duo Prop (DP) drive?
No. While the bar anode is the same, Volvo Penta 280 Duo Prop models require a different ring anode (part number 875821). This kit is designed specifically for standard, single-propeller 280 drives.
How often should I replace these anodes?
Inspect your anodes every few months and plan to replace them when they are 50% consumed. The rate of decay depends on water salinity, temperature, and nearby electrical currents (stray current corrosion).
What are the signs that my anodes need replacement?
