Installation Notes
- Disconnect the battery and remove the engine cover.
- Drain the lower unit's gearcase oil into a suitable container.
- Remove the bolts securing the lower unit (gearcase) to the upper casing and carefully lower it.
- Unbolt and remove the water pump housing to access the impeller.
- Remove the old impeller, key, gaskets, and wear plates. Note their orientation.

- Install the new base gasket, outer plate, insert cup, and impeller key.
- Slide the new impeller into place, turning the driveshaft clockwise to seat the vanes correctly.

- Reinstall the lower unit, refill with fresh gear oil, and test the engine using a water supply (flusher).
