Installation requires drilling holes through the cavitation plate and skeg. The propeller guard should be positioned as far forward on the cavitation plate as possible, ensuring equal distance between the guard and propeller.
- Remove the existing trim tab from under the cavitation plate before installation.
- Drill mounting holes through the cavitation plate and the guard.
- Insert the provided bolts, washers, and nylon lock nuts to secure the guard.
- Drill additional holes through the lower skeg for final mounting.
- Ensure there is proper and equal clearance between the propeller blades and the inside surface of the guard.
