Installation Notes

1. Disconnect the battery and relieve fuel system pressure safely.
2. Note the orientation of the old fuel pump and the connection of its hoses and electrical connectors.
3. Carefully disconnect the fuel lines and electrical plug from the original pump.
4. Remove the mounting bolts or bracket securing the old pump and take it out.
5. Compare the new pump with the old one to ensure an identical match.
6. Install the new O-ring and place the new fuel pump assembly in position.
7. Secure the pump with its mounting hardware, tightening to the manufacturer’s specification.
8. Reconnect the fuel lines using the new hose clamps provided, and plug in the electrical connector.
