Installation Notes

1. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool completely. To prevent fuel spills, relieve any pressure in the fuel system according to your engine's service manual.
2. Place an absorbent rag or suitable container underneath the existing fuel filter to catch any fuel.
3. Observe and note the fuel flow direction, typically indicated by an arrow on the old filter's housing. The new filter must be installed in the same orientation.
4. Carefully loosen the clamps and disconnect the fuel lines from both ends of the old filter.
5. Position the new filter in-line, ensuring the flow arrow points towards the engine.
6. Securely attach the fuel lines to the new filter and tighten the clamps. Do not overtighten.
7. Prime the fuel system using the primer bulb until firm, then inspect the filter and connections thoroughly for any leaks before starting the engine.
