Installation Notes

1. Ensure the engine is off and cool. Disconnect the battery for safety.
2. Locate the existing in-line fuel filter along the fuel line.
3. Place a rag or container under the filter to catch any spilled fuel.
4. Carefully loosen the hose clamps on both sides of the old filter.
5. Gently twist and pull the fuel hoses off the filter fittings.
6. Note the fuel flow direction arrow on the new filter.
7. Attach the fuel hoses to the new filter, ensuring the arrow points toward the engine.
8. Securely tighten the hose clamps on both ends.
9. Prime the fuel system according to your engine's manual (e.g., squeeze the primer bulb until firm).
10. Reconnect the battery, start the engine, and inspect carefully for any leaks around the filter connections.
