- Remove the existing trim tab from under the cavitation plate before installation.
- Drill mounting holes through the cavitation plate and the guard.
- Insert the provided bolts, washers, and nylon lock nuts to secure the guard.
- Drill additional holes through the lower skeg for final mounting.
- Ensure there is proper and equal clearance between the propeller blades and the inside surface of the guard.
