- Unscrew the old anode plugs using the correct wrench (e.g., 11/16" for the E-1F anodes).
- Inspect the remaining portion of the old anodes. They must be replaced when they are approximately 50% eroded to maintain protection.
- Clean the threads on the housing to ensure a good electrical connection and seal.
- Install the new zinc anodes, ensuring they are screwed in securely. Do not overtighten.
- After installation, run the engine and check all connections for any leaks.
