This Sea Sierra Whale Tail Hydrofoil Stabilizer is designed for 8-40 HP outboard motors, compatible with both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. It enhances performance by improving handling, providing better maneuverability, cutting planing time, and helping maintain plane at lower speeds. This hydrofoil is a direct mount to the anti-cavitation plate and is constructed from UV-resistant marine-grade nylon.
This part directly replaces SeaSierra FO2002, NorthBoat FO2003, SE Sport SE200, StingRay Classic JR2, and UanofCn FO2002.

- Ensure the engine is off and the battery is disconnected for safety.
- Position the hydrofoil onto the anti-cavitation plate, ensuring it is centered and level.
- Use a marker to carefully mark the positions for the four mounting holes through the hydrofoil.
- Remove the hydrofoil and use the provided 6.5mm drill bit to drill the marked holes through the cavitation plate.
- Place the hydrofoil back onto the plate, aligning it with the newly drilled holes.
- Insert the stainless steel screws from the top and secure them with the nuts from the bottom. Tighten all hardware evenly.
- Double-check that the hydrofoil is secure and does not move before reconnecting the battery and operating the engine.
