Installation Notes

Ensure the engine is off and cool, and the work area is well-ventilated. Disconnect the boat's battery.
Turn off the fuel supply valve.
Place a suitable container or absorbent rags beneath the old filter to catch any spilled fuel.
Using appropriate tools, loosen the clamps securing the fuel lines to the filter.
Carefully detach the fuel lines and remove the old filter. Note the direction of the flow arrow on the old filter.
Position the new filter, making sure its flow arrow points in the direction of fuel flow (from the tank towards the engine).
Reconnect the fuel lines and securely tighten the clamps. Do not overtighten.
Turn the fuel supply back on and check thoroughly for any leaks at the connections.
If your engine has a primer bulb, squeeze it until it feels firm to prime the system.
Reconnect the battery, start the engine, and check again for leaks.
