Installation Notes
- Ensure the engine is off and completely cool before starting.
- Locate the existing fuel filter, typically found under the engine cowling along the fuel line.
- Place a rag or small container under the filter to catch any residual fuel.
- Carefully loosen the clamps on the inlet and outlet hoses of the old filter.
- Gently twist and pull the hoses off the filter. Note the fuel flow direction, usually marked with an arrow on the filter housing.
- Position the new filter with the flow arrow pointing towards the engine (away from the fuel tank).
- Connect the fuel hoses to the new filter and secure them firmly with the provided clamps.
- If your engine has a primer bulb, squeeze it several times until it feels firm to fill the new filter with fuel.
