Installation Notes
- Turn off the engine and disconnect the battery. Ensure the workspace is well-ventilated and free from ignition sources.
- Locate the existing primary fuel filter along the fuel line between the tank and the engine.
- Place a rag or container under the filter to catch any fuel that may spill.
- Carefully loosen the hose clamps on both sides of the filter and gently twist the fuel hoses off the filter fittings.
- Note the fuel flow direction, usually indicated by an arrow on the filter housing.
- Install the new filter, making sure it is oriented in the correct direction of flow.
- Slide the fuel hoses fully onto the new filter's fittings and securely tighten the hose clamps.
- Prime the fuel system according to your engine's manual (if required).
- Start the engine and carefully inspect the filter and connections for any leaks.
