Installation Notes

1. Turn off the engine and disconnect the battery. Ensure the workspace is well-ventilated and free from ignition sources.
2. Locate the existing primary fuel filter along the fuel line between the tank and the engine.
3. Place a rag or container under the filter to catch any fuel that may spill.
4. Carefully loosen the hose clamps on both sides of the filter and gently twist the fuel hoses off the filter fittings.
5. Note the fuel flow direction, usually indicated by an arrow on the filter housing.
6. Install the new filter, making sure it is oriented in the correct direction of flow.
7. Slide the fuel hoses fully onto the new filter's fittings and securely tighten the hose clamps.
8. Prime the fuel system according to your engine's manual (if required).
9. Start the engine and carefully inspect the filter and connections for any leaks.
