Installation Notes
- Ensure the engine is off and the drive unit is tilted into a raised position for safe access.
- Locate and remove the old, depleted anodes from the drive unit.
- Thoroughly clean the mounting surfaces on the drive to remove any marine growth or residue, ensuring a clean metal-to-metal contact.
- Attach the new anodes using the included hardware. Do not use a thread-locking compound, as it can interfere with electrical conductivity.
- Tighten the mounting bolts securely to the manufacturer's recommended torque specifications. Do not over-tighten.
- Never paint anodes or the mounting surface, as this will render them ineffective.
