Troubleshooting & FAQ
How do I find my engine's model and year?
Your Yamaha engine's model and year are typically found on a identification plate located on the transom clamp bracket. This information is crucial for confirming part compatibility.
What are the signs of a failing water pump impeller?
Common symptoms include a weak or non-existent water stream from the "tell-tale" outlet, engine overheating alarms, or visible cracks and brittleness on the old impeller during inspection.
