This 10 Micron Fuel Water Separator Filter is a high-efficiency replacement designed for Mercury and MerCruiser sterndrive and outboard engines. It removes over 99.8% of emulsified water and is over 90% efficient at filtering particles as small as 10 microns, protecting your fuel system from contaminants.

Installation Notes
- Shut off the engine and allow it to cool completely.
- Place a drain pan or absorbent towels under the filter to catch any spilled fuel.
- Unscrew the old filter canister counter-clockwise. A filter wrench may be needed if it's tight.
- Wipe the filter mounting base clean with a lint-free cloth.
- Lightly lubricate the gasket on the new filter with clean engine oil or grease.
- Screw the new filter on by hand until the gasket makes contact with the base.
- Tighten the filter an additional 3/4 to 1 full turn by hand. Do not overtighten.
- Prime the fuel system according to your engine manufacturer's instructions.
- Start the engine and carefully check for any leaks around the filter.
