Installation Notes
- Required tools: Drill with a 5/16" bit and a compatible wrench.
- Remove the trim tab from under the cavitation plate before beginning installation.
- Position the propeller guard on the underside of the cavitation plate.
- Align the guard so there is equal distance between the guard ring and the propeller blades.
- Position the guard as far forward on the cavitation plate as possible.
- Drill four holes through the cavitation plate and guard on each side.
- Insert the bolts, washers, and nyloc nuts, then loosely tighten them.
- Drill one hole through the lower skeg, insert the bolt, washer, and nyloc nut, and tighten it securely.
- Fully tighten all cavitation plate bolts to secure the guard.
