Troubleshooting & FAQ

How do I know if this Standard Size (Std D) bearing is correct for my engine?

Standard size bearings are used when the crankshaft has not been machined. If your crankshaft has been ground to a smaller diameter, you will need an undersized bearing. Always measure the crank journal diameter to confirm the required size.

What are the signs of a failing big-end bearing?

Common symptoms include a knocking or ticking sound from the bottom of the engine that increases with RPM, low oil pressure, and the presence of metallic particles in the engine oil during an oil change.

Can I replace just one bad bearing?

While possible, it is highly recommended to replace all connecting rod bearings at the same time. If one bearing has failed, others are likely worn and may fail soon after, causing more significant engine damage.

Is assembly lube required for installation?

Yes, applying a quality engine assembly lubricant to the bearings and crankshaft journals is critical. A dry start without lubrication can cause instant bearing failure and damage the crankshaft.

What is the difference between an OEM and an aftermarket part?

This listing is for an aftermarket replacement, not an OEM part. It is engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications using comparable materials and is manufactured in an ISO 9002 certified facility. Every batch is inspected to ensure quality and consistency.

How fast is shipping?

We ship worldwide, with most orders arriving in 5–15 days. Standard shipping is free. If available for your location, expedited shipping options will be presented at checkout.

What is the warranty and return policy?

This product is covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects under normal operating conditions. If you encounter an issue, please contact our support team with your order number. Returns are accepted for unused items in their original packaging within our standard return period.
