Installation Notes

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and shut off the fuel supply to the engine.
2. Carefully remove the airbox/silencer cover to access the carburetor.
3. Disconnect fuel lines and linkages from the carburetor, noting their positions.
4. Unscrew the mounting bolts holding the carburetor to the intake manifold.
5. Remove the carburetor and the old gasket. Discard the old gasket.
6. Thoroughly clean both the carburetor base and intake manifold mating surfaces. Ensure they are completely free of old gasket material, grease, and debris.
7. Place the new gasket onto the intake manifold, aligning it with the mounting holes. Install it dry, without any sealant.
8. Reinstall the carburetor, tighten the mounting bolts to the manufacturer's specified torque, and re-attach all lines and linkages.
9. Turn the fuel supply back on, reconnect the battery, and check for any leaks before starting the engine.
