Installation Notes

1. Turn off the engine and shut off the fuel supply valve.
2. Place a suitable container or absorbent rags under the fuel filter to catch any spilled fuel.
3. Carefully loosen the hose clamps on both sides of the existing filter.
4. Note the direction-of-flow arrow on the old filter, then gently twist and pull the fuel lines off the filter fittings.
5. Position the new filter, ensuring the flow arrow points in the same direction (toward the engine).
6. Connect the fuel lines to the new filter and securely tighten the hose clamps.
7. Turn the fuel supply back on, prime the engine if necessary, and carefully check the filter and connections for any leaks before starting the engine.
