Installation Notes
- Center the hydrofoil on top of the anti-ventilation plate of your motor or stern drive. Ensure it is positioned correctly for optimal performance.
- With the hydrofoil held firmly in place, use a marker to mark the four drill hole locations on the anti-ventilation plate.
- Remove the hydrofoil and carefully drill the four marked holes using the included 6.5mm drill bit.
- Place the hydrofoil back onto the plate, aligning the holes. Insert the stainless steel screws from the top and secure them with the nuts from the bottom.
- Tighten all four sets of screws and nuts evenly and securely. Do not overtighten to avoid damaging the plate or hydrofoil.

However, it is confirmed NOT to fit Mercury 4-Stroke 40HP, 50HP, and 60HP models, or Volvo Ocean Series XDP drives. What extra hardware is needed for Volvo Penta stern drives?
If you are installing this on a Volvo SX-A, DPS, DPR, DPH, 280, or 290 series drive, you will require longer bolts and one fender washer. These items are not included in the standard package and must be sourced separately.
