Installation Notes

- Thoroughly clean the inside of the pump housing and inspect for any scoring or damage.
- Lubricate the new impeller and the new O-ring seal with a suitable marine-grade lubricant.
- Install the new O-ring into its groove on the pump housing or cover.
- Insert the new impeller into the housing, rotating it in the direction of engine operation to correctly bend the vanes.
- Reinstall the pump cover, tightening the bolts in a crisscross pattern to ensure an even seal.
- Reconnect the hoses and tighten the clamps securely.
- Open the seacock, reconnect the battery, and start the engine to check for proper water flow and leaks.
