Troubleshooting & FAQ
How do I confirm this impeller fits my specific engine?
The best method is to match your old part number to one listed in our Part Number Matrix. If you cannot find a part number, compare the technical specifications (especially diameter, depth, and shaft type) to your existing impeller. When in doubt, consult your engine's service manual or contact a professional marine mechanic.
What is the difference between Jabsco 1210-0001-P and 18777-0001?
Jabsco 22120-0001 has been superseded, with 1210-0001-P being the primary designated replacement. The part 18777-0001 is listed by some sources as a replacement but has slightly different specifications (e.g., 10 blades instead of 12). This kit is designed to match the original 22120-0001 (12-blade) specs.
What are the signs of a failing water pump impeller?
Common signs include engine overheating at idle or low speeds, a noticeable reduction in water flow from the exhaust, and visible cracks or missing blades on the impeller itself upon inspection. A dry, brittle, or stiff impeller should also be replaced.
How often should I replace my impeller?
As a general rule, impellers should be inspected annually and replaced every one to two years, depending on usage (hours run) and water conditions (sandy or debris-filled water causes faster wear). Always refer to your engine manufacturer's service recommendations.
OEM vs. Aftermarket?
This listing is an aftermarket replacement (not OEM). Built to OEM-level specifications with comparable materials. Manufactured in an ISO 9002 facility, batch-inspected for consistency.

We ship worldwide quickly—typical transit 5–15 days. Standard shipping is free; expedited options appear at checkout where available.
