Installation Notes

1. Shut off the engine and close the raw water seacock before beginning work.
2. Loosen the screws on the sea water pump cover and remove the cover.
3. Use impeller puller pliers or two screwdrivers to carefully pry out the old impeller.
4. Clean the interior of the pump housing and inspect it for scoring or wear.
5. Apply a light coat of the included glycerine lubricant to the new impeller and inside the pump housing.
6. Insert the new impeller, bending the blades in the direction of the pump's rotation.
7. Install the new O-ring or gasket on the pump cover.
8. Reinstall the cover and tighten the screws in a star pattern to ensure an even seal.
9. Open the raw water seacock, start the engine, and immediately check for leaks and proper water flow from the exhaust.
