Installation Notes

Close the engine's water inlet seacock.
Loosen the sea water pump's cover plate screws and remove the cover.
Use pliers or an impeller puller to carefully remove the old impeller. Note the rotational direction of the blades.
Clean the inside of the pump housing and the cover plate, ensuring no old impeller pieces remain.
Lightly lubricate the new impeller and housing interior with water-resistant grease or soap.
Install the new impeller with a twisting motion, ensuring the blades are oriented in the correct direction.
Align and install the new O-ring in its groove. A light adhesive can hold it in place.
Reinstall the pump cover and tighten the screws evenly. Do not overtighten.
Open the seacock and start the engine, immediately checking the pump for leaks.
