Installation Notes
- Ensure the engine is off and the vessel is safely secured out of the water.
- Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical discharge.
- Carefully remove the old, worn anodes, noting their specific locations.
- Thoroughly clean the mounting surfaces on the sterndrive. Use a wire brush to remove residue and ensure a clean, metal-to-metal contact point.
- Install the new anodes using the provided hardware. Do not overtighten the fasteners.
- Confirm each anode is securely fastened. Never apply paint or other coatings to anode surfaces, as this will prevent them from functioning correctly.
