Installation Notes

Ensure the engine is off and cool. Disconnect the battery.
Drain the engine cooling system.
Remove any components obstructing access to the cylinder head, such as the intake and exhaust manifolds.
Following the service manual, loosen the cylinder head bolts in the specified sequence and remove them.
Carefully lift the cylinder head from the engine block. Avoid using pry tools that could damage the surfaces.
Remove the old head gasket.
Thoroughly clean the mating surfaces of both the cylinder head and the engine block. Ensure they are free of any old gasket material, oil, or debris.
Position the new head gasket correctly on the engine block; check for proper orientation.
Carefully place the cylinder head back onto the block.
Install and tighten the head bolts in the correct sequence and to the torque specifications recommended by the manufacturer.
Reinstall all previously removed components.
Refill the cooling system, reconnect the battery, and start the engine to check for leaks.
