Troubleshooting & FAQ

Will this gasket fit the starboard (right) side of the engine?

No, this gasket is designed specifically for the port (left) side. The starboard side requires a different part (OEM #336389).

What are the signs of a bad intake manifold gasket?

Common symptoms include a rough or high idle, engine misfires, poor acceleration, vacuum leak codes (Check Engine Light), or coolant/oil leaks near the intake manifold.

Is this gasket suitable for use with ethanol-blended fuels?

Yes. It is made from Viton, a high-quality fluoroelastomer known for its excellent resistance to gasoline, ethanol (E10/E15), oil, and high temperatures, making it ideal for marine applications.

Should I use sealant or adhesive with this gasket?

This gasket is typically designed to be installed dry. Applying sealants can interfere with its ability to create a proper seal. Always follow the procedures in your engine’s official service manual.

How can I confirm this is the right part for my engine?

Cross-reference your original part number with those listed in the Part Number Matrix. Additionally, check your engine model, HP, and year against the Engine & Model Compatibility table.

OEM vs. Aftermarket?

This listing is an aftermarket replacement (not OEM). Built to OEM-level specifications with comparable materials. Manufactured in an ISO 9002 facility, batch-inspected for consistency.

Shipping speed & cost?

We ship worldwide quickly—typical transit 5–15 days. Standard shipping is free; expedited options appear at checkout where available.

Warranty & returns?

Covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use. If issues arise, contact support with your order details. Returns are accepted within our standard window (unused & in original condition). See our policy page or reach out for instructions.

Safety & Important Info

  • Verify images/specifications vs your original part. If anything differs—even if your model appears compatible—do not purchase.
