Installation Notes

Before starting, disconnect the boat's battery and close the raw water intake valve (seacock).
Drain any remaining water from the sea water pump housing.
Carefully remove the bolts securing the sea water pump cover to access the impeller.
Note the rotational direction of the existing impeller's vanes before removing it from the housing.
Clean the interior of the pump housing and inspect for any scoring, cracks, or wear.
Lightly lubricate the new impeller and the inside of the housing with a suitable marine glycerine or soap.
Insert the new impeller, ensuring the vanes are bent in the correct direction of rotation.
Install the new O-ring and face plates included in the kit.
Securely fasten the pump cover, tightening the bolts evenly to ensure a proper seal.
Reconnect all hoses, open the seacock, and reconnect the battery.
Start the engine and immediately check for any water leaks and verify proper water flow from the exhaust.
