Installation Notes

Ensure the engine is off and the vessel is safely secured out of the water.
Disconnect the propeller shaft from the transmission coupling.
Carefully slide the shaft back to allow access to the old shaft seal.
Remove the old seal clamps and cut away the old rubber seal, being careful not to scratch the shaft.
Clean the propeller shaft and shaft tube thoroughly to remove any residue or corrosion.
Apply the supplied grease to the inside of the new seal and slide it onto the shaft tube.
Position the new seal correctly according to the manufacturer's marks.
Secure the seal to the shaft tube and shaft using the provided hose clamps.
Re-couple the propeller shaft to the transmission, ensuring proper alignment.
Once the vessel is back in the water, check for any leaks around the seal.
