Installation Notes

Disconnect the battery and remove the lower unit from the outboard motor.
Unbolt and remove the water pump housing. Note the blade orientation of the old impeller.
Remove the old impeller, gaskets, and drive key.
Thoroughly clean the water pump housing and wear plate surfaces.
Install the new drive key and lubricate the new impeller with a marine-safe lubricant.
Install the new impeller, turning the driveshaft clockwise to bend the blades into the correct orientation.
Reinstall the water pump housing with new gaskets and torque bolts to manufacturer specifications.
Reattach the lower unit, reconnect the battery, and test the engine with a water supply to ensure proper cooling system function.
