Installation Notes
- Ensure the engine is completely cool and disconnect the battery before starting work.
- Close the raw water intake seacock to prevent flooding.
- Drain coolant from the exhaust manifold as needed.
- Carefully remove any hoses attached to the old exhaust elbow.
- Unfasten the mounting bolts and remove the old elbow from the manifold.
- Thoroughly clean the mating surface on the manifold, removing all traces of the old gasket and any corrosion.
